Three oversized loads headed to Fort McMurray
Three oversized loads will be making their way north on Highway 63 starting Tuesday, July 25.
According to 511 Alberta, two loads will be coming from Two Hills and are expected to leave around 7 a.m.
They will continue on the journey to Fort McMurray on Wednesday, July 26, where they should arrive at their destinations in Beacon Hill and off Hospital St.

The third load will leave Plamondon around 9 a.m. on July 25 and make it to the site in Beacon Hill at approximately 2 p.m.

Oversized loads take up the width of two lanes and the shoulder, pilot vehicles and flag persons travel with the loads to ensure safety and the Government of Alberta requires oversized loads to pull over periodically when travelling at a speed of more than 10 km/h below the speed limit.
