A wildfire Northwest of Fort McKay near McClelland Lake is 80 per cent contained as of Friday morning.
It was discovered on July 26 at 4:34 p.m. and was being held as of July 28 at 9:00 a.m.
Currently the fire is 25 hectares in size.
In total Alberta Wildfire has had 19 firefighters, three helicopters, two air tankers and one dozer group working the fire.
Residents are advised that smoke may be coming into Fort McMurray and surrounding areas.
However Alberta Wildfire notes that most of it is actually coming in from the Northwest Territories and you can see on the fire smoke map where it is originating from.
