Draper slope stability assessment released

Properties in Draper will continue to need geotechincal assessments moving forward.

The Draper Slope Stability Assessment conducted by Thurber Engineering Ltd. is now available.

The assessment was conducted following the 2016 wildfire, resident concerns about slope stability and following a study conducted for the entire Urban Service Area of Fort McMurray.

The assessment indicates lot-specific geotechnical assessments will continue to be required for all development in areas immediately impacted by slope in the community, including the rebuild of five homes damaged in the wildfire.
