A 23-year-old Fort Chipewyan man has been arrested and is facing three charges related to aggravated assault.
Early in the morning on Aug. 28, Fort Chipewyan RCMP members were called to a home after an alleged stabbing.
The victim, a 19-year-old male, was suffering stab wounds. He was airlifted to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Wayne Raymond Marcel is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7, 2017.
