Southwest winds are bringing smoke into the Fort McMurray area from a wildfire smoldering 112 kilometers northwest of the city.
If you experience respiratory difficulties from the smoke you are advise to call the Alberta Health Link at 811.
The wildfire is located in the Slave Lake Forest Area and is currently out of control however, there is no immediate threat to any community.
Firefighters with aircraft are working to permit the fire from spreading and at the time the blaze remains within the pre-determined containment lines.
