Dunvegan Gardens has many low-cost fall festive activities for families to enjoy before the snow hits.  This year their ten-acre corn maze is in the shape of a huge Canada flag to celebrate the countries 150 birthday.  Depending on how lost you get, owner/operator Brad Friesen said it could take anywhere between half an hour to one hour to find your way through the rows of corn.

“People come out and enjoy it, some spend all day, some half a day or a few hours,” said Friesen, “If the weather is beautiful it’s just nice to be out in the country, get fresh air and enjoy the fall colours.

They also have a jumping pillow, sand box, hay maze, picnic tables and fire pits for families to use.  On Saturdays and Sundays, they have a pumpkin patch where people can come pick and purchase the perfect gourd for their doorstep.  All of the pumpkins were grown locally, planted in early June.
