Voting requirements if rebuilding

In light of the rebuilding going on, constituents of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo can vote in the upcoming election at any polling station.

Anyone who has lived in Alberta as of April 16, 2017 can vote in the RMWB election.

If you are rebuilding and currently live outside your ward you want to vote in, you must provide proof of residency and photo identification.

Advanced polls for Ward 1 will be open form Oct. 7 till 14. and from Oct. 12 till 11 for all other Wards.

On election day, Monday, Oct. 16, all polls are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A full list of polling stations and identification required to vote can be found on the municipalities website.
