Jeremy Snook Memorial Food Drive brings in 3,384 lbs

The third annual Jeremy Snook Memorial Food Drive was a success.

Last Saturday, Team Snook was stationed at Superstore, Save-on and Walmart collected 3,384 lbs of food and $1,752.90 in memory of Jeremy Snook.

“We are so grateful for Gail Snook [mother of Jeremy Snook] and her team for hosting this food drive each year in support of our organization,” says Arianna Johnson, Executive Director of the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. “It is a wonderful gesture to be paired with the remembrance of such a wonderful young man, and we are so happy that the family and friends of Jeremy see such a success each year while doing something good in the community.”

Snook passed away in October of 2013 from cancer, the food drive is held on or before the anniversary of his passing.
