RCMP request help identifying suspect in armed robbery

Wood Buffalo RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect. The incident occurred on October 28 at approximately 4 p.m. when the armed, male suspect entered the Scotia Bank on Franklin Avenue near Alberta Drive and demanded money. No one was harmed but the suspect was able to flee the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The male suspect was wearing dark sunglasses, a dark coloured toque, blue jeans, a grey jacket with a hood, sneakers with a white sole and dark shoe and had a green and black backpack.
