Kristi Hines, Krista Balsom and Brad Karp presented Santas Anonymous with the first of two cheques from the proceeds of the first ever Holiday Cookbook.

From the first 450 cookbooks sold, $5,000 was raised.

Rogers staff also donated $4,000 from the CEO Team award they won for their coverage on the 2016 wildfire.

The book was created by Hines Health Services, in partnership with Country 93.3 and Your McMurray Magazine and features recipes and stories from local personalities along with the history of Santas Anonymous.

This was Santas Anonymous 33rd year in operation and they delivered close to 1000 hampers to families across the RMWB in time for the holidays.

Although Santas Anonymous is wrapping up for 2017, they accept donations year-round as they aim to make sure everyone has a merry Christmas.
