Winter Maintenance Zones relaxed starting Jan. 1
WMZs relaxed from Jan. 1 to 5. Crews will be working on primary and secondary route snow removal during that time.
Winter Maintenance Zones (WMZs) will be relaxed from Jan. 1 to 5, allowing for residential on-street parking.
You’re reminded to watch for posted signage as other parking restrictions may still apply, such as the 48-hour parking bylaw.
The relaxed zones are for residential streets only. Crews will be focusing on primary and secondary route snow removal from Jan. 2 to 5.

Snow removal will begin in Prairie Creek and Thickwood and back alley snow removal, which has been delayed due to the extreme cold temperatures, will also continue in that time.
