Bouchier Group returns to 100% ownership

The Bouchier Group has bought back Carillion's minor stake in the company.

The Bouchier Group has bought back Carillion PLC’s minor stake in the company.

Carillion owned 49 per cent of the Bouchier Group but did not have a hand in the day to day operations.

Nicole Bourque-Bouchier said the group was adamant that they would use a pull-down.

“We would take things into the company from Carillion that made sense to the Bouchier business, so nothing was ever forced upon us. In that respect it worked really well and lent itself to a very successful partnership,” added Bourque-Bouchier.

The Bouchier Group is now 100 per cent locally owned.

“We are quite excited about being back to locally and Aboriginally owned position and we really want to get our heads around that now and get out team on-board with that,” said Bourque Bouchier.

Carillion announced earlier this week that they had no choice but to go into compulsory liquidation.
