Those travelling from Fort McMurray to Calgary and Edmonton will have more flexibility thanks to WestJet’s 2018 summer schedule.
The schedule will add a Friday morning flight to Edmonton, which will provide passengers flexibility to travel direct four times a day, five days a week.
An increase in flights to Calgary was introduced in WestJet’s winter schedule and will now continue through summer.
Fort McMurray International Airport’s president and CEO RJ Steenstra says the airport authority will continue to work with airline partners to connect the community to key destinations and hubs.
