Nexen Energy has pleaded not guilty to all eight charges in relation to an explosion on their site that killed two workers.

Alberta Occupational Health and Safety charged the energy company in December 2017.

In January 2016, Dave Williams and Drew Foster were performing maintenance inside a hydrogen Compressor Building when the explosion occurred.

One of the men died on scene, the other died several days later in hospital.

Nexen is expected to be back in court on May 16th to set trial dates.
