Investigation into Casman Centre fire

An investigation is ongoing at the Casman Centre after a paper towel dispenser was set on fire causing significant damage to one washroom and other parts on the building.

Terry Connors, who runs the Casman told MyMcMurray that they have a bunch of cleaning to do and the bathroom will need to be completely re done.

No one was hurt because of the fire but emergency management crews were called.

Connors believes it was arson and surveillance footage is being reviewed.
