ACDEN has pledged $250,000 to the Northern Lights Health Foundation’s Gratitude Campaign, their biggest donation to date.

“It was a momentous moment for ACDEN, we have never been able to contribute in this capacity before and it is really important. One of our pillars of our business is looking after the community,” said Chelsea Carlson, corporate communications and public relations advisor.

The money will go toward the $7.6M Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) Suite Project, which is a state of the art upgrade to four operating rooms at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre.

“The MIS Suite upgrade impacts so many people. Having the modern and innovative technology will help the health centre recruit new surgeons and result in people getting back to their families and back to work much faster,” said Cindy Amerongen, executive director of the Northern Lights Health Foundation.

The Gratitude Campaign consist of six projects that will bring vital medical equipment, programs and services to the region.
