The 2018 Baseball Canada 18 and under National Championship presented by Pepsi is coming to Shell Place.
From August 16-19th our community will welcome ten elite teams from across the country to play ball.
Fort McMurray hosted the 2016 Baseball Canada Cup and Michael Marousek, committee co-chair said they are proud to host a Baseball Canada event once again.
“The tremendous support we saw in 2016 from enthusiastic fans, volunteers and business partners represents the power of sport to ignite the energy in our community. We’re delighted to once again bring this calibre of competitive play back to our region for an action-packed tournament that will surely create lasting memories for all.”
As the host city, the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association (FMMBA) will field their own team of local talent.
Games will be played at Shell Place and Ross Hennigar Ball Park throughout the weekend.
