More than 500 graduating students took park in Keyano College’s 2018 Convocation.
There were two ceremonies held on Friday, May 11 to accommodate such a large graduating class.
The 2018 Valedictorian was Kelly MacIntyew who graduated from the Business Administration Management Certificate program. MacIntyre will be returning to Keyano in the fall pursue a Business Management diploma and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
The 2018 recipient of the Governor General’s Academic Medal was Samantha LeBlanc, a graduate of the Social Work diploma. This is one of the most prestigious awards that can be received by a student in a Canadian educational institution for exceptional academic achievement.
Keyano’s Interim President and CEO, Brenda Sautner, thanked graduates for their dedication and hard work.
