Keyano College has appointed their new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Trent Keough has worked in Alberta’s post-secondary education system since 2006, holding a number of positions.
“Trent has a proven track record in post-secondary and is known for the ability to build relationships with stakeholders while taking on the difficult decisions and challenges that colleges face. We are pleased to have Trent join our college and we welcome him to our community,” said Interim Board Chair, Brent Davis.
Keough describes himself as hard-wired to ‘see’ differently, to identify different patterns and opportunities otherwise ignored or overlooked.
Former Keyano College president and CEO, Tracy Edwards resigned in December because of health concerns with her husband.
Keough will take on the college’s top role starting June 25.
