Newly elected MLA Laila Goodridge has been assigned a critic portfolio.
Goodridge was elected to represent the Fort McMurray-Conklin riding on July 12, she will now have the added responsibility of the Seniors, Housing and Multiculturalism critic portfolio.
“It is an honour to serve the people of Fort McMurray-Conklin as their MLA and now as the United Conservative Seniors, Housing, and Multiculturalism Critic,” said Goodridge. “I look forward to working with stakeholders from across the province to effectively represent Albertans served by these departments.”
The fall sitting of the legislature is scheduled to begin on Oct. 29.
