Alberta’s Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) has wrapped up a three-month investigation and arrested 22 year-old Duncan McLeod, a suspected drug dealer.
The arrest was made on August 8, outside a business in Fort McMurray’s Eagle Ridge neighbourhood where ALERT investigators were able to seize $2,200 worth of cash and drugs, which included 16 grams of cocaine, four grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 20 oxycodone tablets and $380 in cash.
McLeod faces several drug related charges and has been released on bail. His and is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Fort McMurray on August 28.
