CF-188 Hornet aircraft to fly over Shell Place tonight

As a part of the 2018 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship opening ceremonies on Aug. 16, a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CF-188 Hornet aircraft will fly above Shell Place.
The aircraft will fly over around 6:10 p.m. after the national anthem.
It will fly no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle during its flyby, then will resume higher flight to return to Cold Lake.

Flybys by RCAF aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety.
