Oktoberfest will return to MacDonald Island for its third year on Sept. 29.
The one night festival will feature live music, German-inspired food, prizes for best dressed and a variety of beer.
Kelsey Stefanizyn, Senior Manager of Sales & Events, Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo said the event will be a traditional German experience with a modern spin.
“Each year we look forward to enhancing this event for the community and the best is yet to come.”
Event-goers, who are encouraged to wear their best Oktoberfest costumes, will get a commemorative stein and can take part in a stein holding competition.
Tickets are $39 plus taxes and fees and will go on sale Aug. 24 at 10 a.m.
This is an 18+ event.
