Temporary school special transit service is being introduced to help students get used to their new school routines.
Students will be heading back to school on Sept. 4 with nine new school specials plus all 14 from the 2017-2018 school year.
The temporary routes will give students plenty of options for getting to school safely and on time.
The transit team and school boards will work together to keep track of ridership and make adjustments as needed.
School boards and residents will be notified of any changes during the temporary adjustment period.
Changes to regular transit service were announced Aug. 24.
Transit service will operate on the holiday schedule with service limited to routes 11, 15, 16, 18 and 99 for Labour Day on Sept. 3
