Search efforts for a missing 16-year-old boy in Gregoire Lake ended yesterday.
The boy’s body was recovered from the water and the RCMP has notified the next of kin.
The boy was seen falling from a small watercraft on Sept. 1 and a boat believed to be the one he was on was found shortly after.
A volunteer dive team from southern Alberta along with Red Deer’s Compass Geomatics Ltd., an RCMP jet boat, Anzac fire department and Search and Rescue all took part in the search.
