Provincial historic sites and museums are offering free admission and plenty of activities for Alberta Culture Days.

Culture Days, which is the province’s largest celebration of arts, heritage, diversity and community spirit, runs from Sept. 28-30.

Ricardo Miranda, Minister of Culture and Tourism says that free admission is another way to give people the chance to discover our province’s heritage.

The Discover Wood Buffalo Culture Bus Tour will take riders to various local venues where you can take part in activities, while the Oil Sands Discovery Centre is offering free admission all weekend.

The schedule also includes art exhibits, theatre, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Aaron Paquette will speak on literacy and truth and reconciliation at the Wood Buffalo Regional Library Saturday afternoon.

Alberta Culture Days is a part of National Culture Days which includes communities from coast to coast.
