RCMP increase enforcement downtown, executed 19 arrest warrants
After targeting the area, which was identified by the police to have an increased crime rate, 19 warrants of arrest were executed and 19 criminal code of Canada charges were laid included seven breaches.

The Wood Buffalo RCMP has increased enforcement in the downtown core of Fort McMurray as part of an Alberta RCMP initiative crime reduction strategy.
After targeting the area, which was identified by the police to have an increased crime rate, 19 warrants of arrest were executed and 19 criminal code of Canada charges were laid included seven breaches.
The RCMP also conducted a number of compliance checks to ensure court orders are being respected.
