Several canned nutritional drinks made by Abbott Nutrition have been recalled because of possible bacterial contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said the recall covers 235 mL metal cans of Ensure Plus and PediaSure, among others.
The recall was originally issued on Sept. 23, but has been updated to include additional product information identified during the CFIA investigation.
Consumers shouldn’t use the products and retailers, hospitals and nursing homes are being warned not to sell or use them.
There has been one reported illness associated with the products.
