The Wood Buffalo Autism Society has been impacted by a break and enter at STACS Fine Food.
The local restaurant was selling 50-50 tickets for the Society’s cash for Christmas draw and whoever broke in stole the tickets along with the donations collected.
Keith Singer of Bumper to Bumper has doubled the amount of cash that was stolen and is encouraging others to donate too.
“We’re kind of issuing a little challenge because it is the giving season which seems to be a 12 month season in Fort McMurray,” said Singer.
Legacy Truck Wash and Bulldog Delivery have also stepped in with donations.
Tickets for the draw are also still available at the Wood Buffalo Autism Society, STACS Fine Food, St. John Ambulance and North Star Ford’s Gregoire Location for $10.
The draw date is Dec. 14th.
