Fort McMurray REALTORS® is reporting strong sales for the year with an increase of just over 13 per cent compared to last.
Their November statistics release indicates a slow month, as usual, with about 20 per cent more listings compared to the same time last year with an almost 30 per cent decrease in sales and the average sale price down 3.29 per cent.
Sales for single family detached homes were down by about 16 per cent with 30 selling for about $573,625.
Currently there are 295 of those homes listed on the market, a decrease of almost 21 per cent.
However, apartment listings saw a huge increase, more than triple 2017, as wildfire rebuilds in Abasand went on the market.
