Wood Buffalo RCMP has charged a man in connection with a pair of downtown robberies.
Kenneth Nolan Hanson, 35, has been charged with two counts of robbery and four counts of failing to comply with conditions.
RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on Franklin Ave. near Father Mercredi St. at around 7 a.m. on Dec. 11.
Later in the day, RCMP responded to another robbery within the same area.
The suspect, whose physical description matched the first incident also brandished a knife and demanded cash, but was wearing different clothing.
Hanson will appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on Jan. 7, 2019.
