RCMP issue 42 tickets for car seat infractions

Wood Buffalo RCMP conducted a car seat check stop in collaboration with Safe Communities Wood Buffalo on Nov. 22, 2018 and checked 50 vehicles with car seats to see if they were installed correctly.

As a result 34 of the vehicles had many infractions of the safety regulations and 42 tickets were issued, eight vehicles needed minor corrections, mostly tightening straps for their children and eight vehicles passed with no issues.
