Born at 10 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2019 to Shauni Avery-Letcher and James Cross the baby girl weighed five pounds, one ounce.

On average 1300 babies are born per year at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre.

In 2018 there were 1,176 deliveries, with the highest number of births occurring in August, with 122.
