A woman and a youth are facing several charges in relation to a drug seizure by Wood Buffalo RCMP.
RCMP Drug Section, Police Dog Services, Crime Reduction and Criminal Intelligence Units, along with general duty officers executed a search warrant at an apartment near Manning Ave. on Dec. 13, 2018.
The search seized 22 grams of suspected cocaine, 14 grams of an unknown substance and $3225 in Canadian currency.
Arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 is 36-year-old Faduma Ali of Fort McMurray.
A 16-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and faces similar charges. Both are due in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on separate days.
