The Regional Recreation Corporation (RRC) of Wood Buffalo made the 2019 list of best workplaces in retail and hospitality.
The RRC is responsible for all of the facilities at MacDonald Island Park, including the Suncor Community Leisure Centre, Miskinaw Golf Club and Shell Place, along with facilities within the rural hamlets of the region, the Anzac Recreation Centre and the Conklin Multiplex.

In order to make the list, organizations must be Great Place to Work Certified™ in the past year and work primarily in the Retail or Hospitality industry. Winners are chosen based on direct survey feedback from employees
