CORRECTION: This article originally said the first meeting was scheduled for Monday, March 5. It’s actually scheduled for Tuesday, March 5.

Next month, the Municipality is looking for your input on the future of off-highway vehicles in Fort McMurray.

The Municipality will hold special public engagement sessions during the month of March asking for feedback concerning several city bylaws restricting ATVs and snowmobile to designated staging areas.

Your ideas and contributions would assist in deciding what works best for the region, in particular in some Fort McMurray neighbourhoods where additional barriers would help curb illegal use.

Public Meetings

Representatives from the Municipality will be on hand to field your ideas and provide information as the following scheduled dates and locations.

  • Tuesday, March 5, 5-8 p.m. at the Syncrude Athletic Park Clubhouse
  • Thursday, March 7, 5-8 p.m. in the Suncor Community Leisure Centre main concourse
  • Thursday, March 14, 5-8 p.m. at the Syncrude Athletic Park Clubhouse

In the meantime, you can take their online survey about off-highway vehicles on the RMWB website.

Arrange special one-on-one meetings by contacting PULSE at (780) 743-7000.
