Hines Health Services received the Women Entrepreneur Award of Distinction at the Alberta Business Awards.

The award was given to Founder and Director Kristi Hines on March 1 by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce.

The commitment Hines shows to our community helped her achieve the award, which is given to women entrepreneurs for their achievements in business and for being role models.

“I’m not just in my hometown of Fort McMurray to build my business, I’m here to create a resilient community and a great place to live,” said Hines.

Hines works with local organizations including the Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corporation, Habitat for Humanity, Community Futures and the Alberta Occupational Health Nursing Association.

Hines Health Services is also eligible for the Premier’s Award of Distinction, which is a partnership with the Alberta Government.
