Brace yourselves, the best art from northern Alberta is coming to Mac Island.
This Thursday, the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery will house “The Best of Northern Alberta” art exhibition presented by the Alberta Society of Artists.
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) says the exhibit features some of the best artistry from right here in Wood Buffalo.
Similar open-theme exhibitions throughout the province highlight and encourage artists from rural communities.
The art exhibition runs from March 7-28, 2019.
Opening Night
The “Opening Reception” for the Best of Northern Alberta exhibition gets underway at 7 p.m. on March 7.
The event is open to all community members at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery in Mac Island.
Members can view the artwork, and enjoy light refreshments and cash bar as well.
