The Fort McMurray Urban Market is getting set to open it’s 7th annual market season with a vendor information session.
The session, which is on May 15 at 5:30 p.m., will go over the application process, rules and regulations and will give vendors suggestions on how to be successful.
Since the Urban Market is a registered Alberta Farmers Market, 80 per cent of vendors make or grow their products in Alberta.
“The Fort McMurray Urban Market has proven to be a popular annual market in our community. In conjunction with a second market taking place this summer, we are looking forward to having even more opportunities to bring products, events and activities to the downtown core,” said Recreation & Culture Coordinator, Arndis Arnold.
You can apply now to be a vendor, volunteer or entertainer.
Vendors can attend all of the 10 scheduled market days, which have a different theme each week, or can select a few.
Opening day is June 12, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
