The bi-annual art exhibition, igNIGHT, returns to downtown Fort McMurray.
What’s more, this year’s theme will be GINORMOUS!
The Public Art Committee of Wood Buffalo invites artists to seek inspiration from the region of Wood Buffalo to submit “ginormous” proposals for engaging artwork.
The region’s abundant natural resources, giant trucks, far-reaching landscapes, and large and generous hearts of McMurrayites are all inspiring examples.
Between Sept. 27 and Oct. 6, 2019, igNIGHT takes place from 7-10 p.m. featuring conceptual art using light as the core element.
Artists have until Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 2 p.m. to submit their proposals.
