Peter Tomaras is heading for the ACAC.
The Fort McMurray Oil Baron committed to attend and play for the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder of the ACAC.
The 20-year-old Edmonton native’s commitment begins in the fall.
During the 2018-19 regular season, the forward played in 48 games, scoring 13 goals and 27 points.
“Peter is a leader on and off the ice and as a coaching staff, we’re happy he’s able to continue his hockey career and begin his studies at Concordia next season.” Said Tom Keca, head coach and general manager of the Oil Barons.
Tomaras is a welcome addition to the Thunder squad, says head coach Dan Glegloff.
“Peter is a competitive player who plays a hard game and has the ability to produce offence. He is also a committed student and will be an excellent addition to the positive culture in our athletics department.”
Tomaras joins Jaedon Leslie, Liam Izyk, and Ryan Conroy as MOB players on the 2018-19 roster committed to other programs next season.
