Vandalism reports tamper with provincial election

Signs, signs, everywhere are signs: Election signs.

Signs across the province, and right here in Wood Buffalo, are asking you to vote for certain MLA hopefuls.

However, the RCMP received numerous reports of vandalism to election signs.

Tampering with election signs is a criminal offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Police are also investigating reports of property damage and hate speech along with the vandalism.

If you know about sign tampering, contact police immediately.

The provincial election is April 16, 2019.
