All creatures great and small have to go.

This weekend, the RMWB wants to help pet owners dealing with animal waste.

You can drop off your animal waste at the Municipality’s two drop-off sites this Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drop it off at the Casman Centre parking lot in Thickwood and the Waterways Dog Park.

Parks staff reminds you to double bag animal waste as it may contain harmful bacteria.

Staff will ship the waste to the municipal landfill south on Highway 63.

Things to know

  • Parks won’t accept open-top containers or barrels of animal waste.
  • Contents of animal waste also include training pads, kitty litter, and soiled wood chips and newspaper.
