CALGARY (660 NEWS) – It seems Albertans really want to vote in the 2019 election.

According to Elections Alberta, around 276,000 people have cast their votes in the first two days of advance polling.

That number is about 40,000 more than all four days of advance voting in the 2015 election. That election saw the highest voter turnout in the province in 22 years.

Advance voting is still open in many stations in the province from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. through Saturday
