This June, Sustainival returns to MacDonald Island.

The world’s first green carnival provides great food, exciting games, and thrilling rides for the whole family to enjoy.

Executive director, Odette Hutchings, says you’ll really enjoy their newest ride, The Frenzy.

“Sustainival is excited to thrill Albertans with our wide array of rides and games, while displaying the power and possibility that sustainable technologies offer.”

Sustainival showcases energy efficiency and clean technologies in a carnival atmosphere.

Also, it’s free admission.

Once inside Sustainival, you’ll find fees on the carnival’s rides and games.

Fortunately, you can save a few bucks by pre-purchasing your Ride All Day Pass.

With more than 45 green-energy powered attractions to try, the pass will come in handy.

Last year, the council cut funding, but they can return to our community this summer.

Green Beast Eco-Challenge

Also returning is the daily Green Beast Eco-Challenge.

This Amazing Race style game gives contestants the opportunity to win great prizes while solving puzzles around the midway.

There will be clues hidden throughout the many pavilions, exhibits, and presentations.

Not only can you win a great prize, but you’ll also learn something about green energy along the way.

Sustainival kicks off June 13, 2019, at Mac Island, and runs to June 17, 2019.
