Regional Emergency Services will be working to reduce the risk of burns to the grassy and forested areas throughout the city this spring.
Throughout the coming weeks there will be controlled burns in several areas. This work is done each spring to remove dead and dry surface fuels that gather up over the winter months to reduce the risk of wildfire in the region.
