Computing enthusiasts, both novice and pro, will flock to Keyano this weekend.
The college is home to this year’s annual technology conference and Hackathon to recognize Community Code Day.
Hosts Youth Computing, BrainSTEM Alliance and the Keyano College Regional Innovation Network promise a fun weekend featuring workshops, speakers, and activities.
The theme for this year is health and wellness.
The speakers will also cover a variety of topics such as virtual reality, programming, sport and technology, and work-life balance.
During the weekend, tech wizards will be hard at work perfecting their hackathon projects for a chance to win one of many prizes.
Winners will be selected on Sunday, with the grand prize winner receiving a $1,000 cash prize.
Although admission is free, conference organizers ask for participants to register online so they know how many are coming.
