Fort McMurray Tourism’s Spring Trade Show & Western RV Country Show is taking over MacDonald Island Park this weekend with over 200 exhibitors.
In March Fort McMurray tourism and the Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corporation (WBEDC) merged together to creature more opportunities for sustainable regional economic growth.
“The Spring Trade Show is our first venture with the new organization, and with their past expertise it is running smoothly – we look forward to many future opportunities in this area,” said Kevin Weidlich, WBEDC’s Chief Executive Officer.
All attendants will be given a draw ballot to enter into the four door prizes including “The Vault” presented by Country 93.3 and 97.9 ROCK where they’ll have the chance of cracking the code to win a grand prize of $5000 cash. Other door prizes include Will Packages from Don Scott Law (valued at $1650), a Le Creuset Cookware set from Harris Appliance (valued at $850), and a Persian carpet from Kashan Persian Rugs (valued at $750).
The hours for the show are:
Friday, April 26, 2018 – 1 pm to 9 pm
Saturday, April 27, 2018 – 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday, April 28, 2018 – 10 am to 5 pm
The draws will take place on Sunday, at 4:30 pm.
