The Wood Buffalo Community Foundation (WBCF) announced they’re accepting grant applications for the 2019 granting cycle.
2018 saw seven local social profits receive up to $250,000 from the WBCF.
To qualify, groups must submit a detailed application describing their area of focus and target audience.
Furthermore, they must show their group’s sustainability, and their role in prevention or early intervention, and wellness support for individuals and families.
The WBCF website lists these details in-depth.
The deadline for grant applications is June 12, 2019.
Afterwards, the WBCF grants committee shortlists all applications by the end of July and makes their final decisions before the end of October 2019.
The WBCF funds local programs and initiatives such as arts, culture, education, environment, health and fitness, and social services.
