Westwood Community High School secures another big win in the field of science.
Grade 10 classmates Francois Marais and Caprinder Nanrey were big winners at this year’s Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) in Fredericton, N.B.
The pair won the bronze medal as well as the Best Intermediate Information Challenge Award.
Marais and Nanrey’s award-winning project “Decrypting Cyber Security” identifies the shortcomings of anti-virus software and features security upgrades.
Also joining them in New Brunswick are fellow Westwood schoolmates Aditya Ayri and Sujit Velmurugan.
All four represented “Team Wood Buffalo” at the national science fair.
